Ausaf (روزنامہ اوصاف) is an international Urdu daily newspaper which is being published simultaneously from Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Frankfurt and London.

Ausaf Group of Newspapers is the first ever group which has managed to establish two overseas editions (Frankfurt and London). Daily Ausaf was inaugurated on the 25 December 1997 from Islamabad. Since then it launched its paper from Frankfurt (22 December 2001), London (27 May 2002), Multan (11 August 2002), Lahore (23 March 2006) and finally on the 15 April 2007 from Muzaffarabad.

The Daily Ausaf is an Urdu language newspaper of Pakistan. The Daily Ausaf not only simultaneously published and circulated from almost all the big cities of Pakistan such as Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Muzaffarabad (except Karachi) but also from some European countries such as Frankfurt and London.

Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.”

However, the validity of the interview with Osama Bin Laden has come under question as the reporter allegedly never actually met Bin Laden, but merely sent written questions to the Taliban government (at that time in power in Afghanistan and facing an attack from the US/UN) and received written replies.
